Our caterer is Wild And Smoky, run by Walter and Ariane. As Simon and some of the guests are vegetarian, we will be aiming to have a good range of options to suit both meat lovers and veggies alike!
Drinks will be provided on the house! We are supplying the bar with as much as we can to keep the party going and make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day.

Yes, we’re trying our best to make sure no one will go hungry. If you have any specific dietry requirements you can put this in your RSVP response. If it is something specific or if you have any questions on the day, please let Ariane from Wild And Smoky know who you are and what you need.

  Bachilton Barn is located near Methven, Perthshire (PH1 3QX). From Perth, take the A85 towards Crieff. Drive through Methven, and approximately two miles past the village, turn left onto the farm road (immediately before a white cottage). You should see some signage for Bachilton Barn. Follow the farm road for one mile until you reach the venue.

We would love for our guests to dress in Formal attire / Highland dress.. Suits, kilts, and lovely dresses will be perfect.

We would love for your guests to embrace our celestial autumnal wedding theme with rich autumnal tones, velvet, sparkle, florals, moons and stars - think romantic, earthy and magicla.

We kinkdly ask guests to avoid navy satin attire to help keep the overall look cohesive for our wedding party.

Please don’t feel any pressure at all! The absolute best gift you can give us is your presence (and your best dance moves) on our big day. However, if you would like to honour us with a gift, we have set up a honeymoon fund link on our Homepage to help us kickstart our next big adventure together.

We will also have a Wedding Post box on the day which you can slot any letters or small gifts into.

We have tried to accommodate as many people who are staying overnight in the on-site accommodation (5 Cottages and 2 Mongolian Yurts) but the spaces are very limited. If you aren't sure if you're staying in these, please get in touch and we can let you know!

For those of you staying on site, there is a hot tub for each cottage and yurt. If you wish to use these please bring your own swimsuits and towels.

It is probably best to bring a towel for the bathroom either way as we do not believe the venue supplies these.

We’re going for a Feasting Hall style, so we’ll have some long tables and a spot reserved for each guest. It will be a relaxed environment and the dinner is a buffet so you’ll be able to move around freely.

We will have QR Codes placed around the venue where anyone will be able to scan with their phone camera and upload photos throughout the whole day, creating a fun wedding album that everyone can contribute to!
